The first visit is an evaluation to determine if your child needs occupational therapy/equine movement therapy. During the first visit, the child will be observed interacting with the horse to determine their comfort level and if the use of horses is a good match for your child’s therapy. Parents will also be educated on their role as a side walker, and given information regarding expectations of the therapy session.
